The School
Pegasus Flight Training (Cambridge) is a microlight flying school established in 1981 by CFI David Garrison. Based at Sutton Meadows airfield 10 miles North of Cambridge, the school is easily accessable from the A14 or M11. Sutton Meadows, which is also the home of the Cambridgeshire Microlight Club, is a dedicated microlight airfield with three grass runways and a total absence of obstructions making it probably the best microlight training airfield in the country. Facilities include briefing rooms, pilot's lounge, clubhouse and hangarage. We train on fixed wing microlights using the EV97 Eurostar, one of the new generation of high performance aircraft. In 1987 the school received the AOPA Microlight Achievement Award in recognition of our high standards of training.
